Starting a battle soldiers have singleshoot reactionfire selected but the green line doesn't appear next to TU. The soldiers are doing RF but I can move all the TUs so reserving rectionfire's time units not working.

If I click on the RF set button and select singleshot again it's ok, TUs are reserved.

Confirmed, exactly the same behaviour (r21856). On the next turn, without clicking the reservation button, it continues just like that.

r22692 should have fixed it, problem was some macro converting int->char and the absence of another macro for char->int (for hand index/char)
