load attached testcase, open base 2.
open aircraft equipment screen, select pilots. notice how no pilots are assigned or available. press "+"... pilot mysteriously appears.

Fixed in r21216.

That pilot was visible but on your first base. The `airequipSelectedPilot' variable was not initialized when there was no pilots on the second base so he got assigned from the first.

well, actually the pilot was hired on the second base - and was available there for several load/save cycles.
so there must be some other bug, somewhere, that made the pilot move bases :)
