I know of the "debug_fullcredits" code, but what other codes are there other than that and the ones under "debug_help"?  Is there one that gives full happiness to the nations?

Tactics / General Tactics for Newbie Player

Okay, I'm having trouble with my game, not technical trouble, but it just seems like I'm always one step away from losing.  Nations are unhappy with me, UFOs always get away or shoot down my jets, my soldiers get slaughtered during base attacks, I'm having a hard time trying to capture a live alien, and I'm having a hard time making and/or keeping money.

Anyone have any advice for early-, mid-, and late-game?

Sorry, meant to say that this is for 2.5.

Feature Requests / Make the game easier to mod

Seriously, this game is so hard to mod!  I decided one day to mode the game so that I'd have more starting credits...that was 4 days, 26 posts, and countless headaches ago.  I'm sure some of you may think that it's easy, well, I'm sure that I'm not the only one who feels like they need to be a programming expert in order to edit one damn line of code!

Also, why can we only use debug commands in the development versions of the game?

Feature Requests / "Protect the alien defector" Mission

I'd be lying if I'd said that I fully understood the aliens in this game, but I still like to think that some of them (the ones that aren't being controlled by their overlords) may be having second-thoughts about wiping out the humans and may actually want to help humanity.  In this case PHALANX would benefit from rescuing the defector (boost to research and possibly a new branch of research) before it's former comrades and/or over-zealous humans get to him.

User modifications / How do I increase starting money?

First-time poster, recent player.

Like it says on the tin, how do I increase the amount of money I start with?  I know it has something to do with the difficulty coding, but I'm not sure.
