we only have one glass effect - and one metal effect. some more would be useful ;)

OK Mattn - I thought the glass breaking sounds would be easiest to produce and I figured you would have had loads of submissions by now.. but I've already set up quite a few - I'll re-visit and create the .oggs.

In the meantime I've attached the Metal Breaking effects - although they don't really sound like breaking - more clattering and banging, but it's the nearest I could get without spending a deal of time - see what you think ;)

Hey Gren, maybe it would be a good idea if you just decompress the file yourufoinstallationdirectory/base/0snd.pk3.  ::)

You can use 7zip for that:

http://www.7-zip.org/

After doing that you can check all the sound available for UFO:AI @ the moment & maybe you can get a impression of what is missing or only available in bad quality yourself...  ;)

Sure - I'll have look/listen. May tell me what's there, but not what's required tho.  ??? - In the meantime, some quite short Fire & Water Stereo samples... :)

Required is everything that you can make better there & also variations of the stuff that is already there ;)

Thanx for the new samples. Had no time to listen to them (yet), but knowing the quality you deliver already, they are ok for sure...

I notice that there are a lot of .wav format files. I can re-sample these and export/convert them to .ogg if it's of any help. Doing a re-sample will also give the opportunity to improve quality where needed. ;)

I'm also still working on the Return Journey track (and others) - not forgotten!  :D

but is'nt it easyer to just right click the file and goto rename?

it would'nt alter the contents of the file...

so the uppercase ones he sent you. are easyily changed.
