Feature Requests / Re: new feature

I wanted to say civilians are running away from aliens in the latest (dev) version afair. (as i've experienced)

Well, I think we should put in great penality if a Phalanx soldier kills civilians if it isn't in already. The aim of Phalanx IS to save civilians not to hunt them.

I don't like the idea.
Invite aliens for a tea instead. :) (Shouting 'People here! Now!' on the battleground could mean quick death.)

Anyway civilians in the current development version don't seem as dumb as before. Hmm..Did we fix this behavior already?

use the dev version. :D
In 2.2.1 it's not yet implemented afaik.

In case of assertion failures the expression (on which it got out) is needed to know where the problem is. There could be tons of asserts in a sourcefile.
I would also note that bug reports should be done on sf tracker.

Discussion / Re: Win32 2.2 release - oops

1. If you found the topic that you wanted to ask about do NOT start a new one. Reply.
2. You're maybe at end of the game. (It's not finished. You could find this info too by searching a bit more here.)

Feature Requests / Re: Where did the initial credits go?

There are options in Options/Game menu about whether you want start with buildings and employees IMO. (but not sure for 2.2.x) And in the latest development version they (options) were moved to the create base popup menu so you don't even need to go to options menu.

If you use a precompiled package, I'm sure it has been fixed since then, see https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1994515&group_id=157793&atid=805242

But if you can reproduce it with the latest trunk feel free to report it on SF.

Yes agree, I wanted to say it's not a bug but a missing feature.

@Delphis: installation of music package workarounds only the FPU (division by zero) bug (which is fixed in current trunk).

@Board Certified UFOlogist: It would be nice if you could run it from debugger (gdb) and send a backtrace log to SF bugtracker, see: http://ufoai.ninex.info/wiki/index.php/Debugging

Installation system is not finished. Plz be more patient if using dev version. Here, things change day by day (or even more frequently)!

Linux / Re: trunk 2.3: error saving

I suggest you to use the svn directly so you can upgrade anytime. Or you can ask the package maintainer for a more recent version (debs' usually have one AFAIK).

Did you read the whole bug report? The first fix was posted to r17265. You should upgrade.

Which revision? Isn't it https://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=1994515&group_id=157793&atid=805242 ?
If not send a bugreport (w. backtrace if possible) on SF.

You must downloaded the last beta package which is rather old. This bug has been fixed since then. You should check out the latest source and compile it yourself to have the latest features (and bugs ;) ).
