Feature Requests / Re: Attack dogs!

Since when have aliens had mind controlling tech/abilities?
It's an open secret that nobody want to admit(or you can consider that it was beginning from Dec-1993, the original X-Com's release date).

Generally, NPCs is a synonym of some characters that can't be looted. So, the dogs will not be interested by both the aliens and your sides. Also, I think you may not require an ammo backup for a battle of facing 10 minus enemies and the mind control ability of aliens may turn your best friends to your worst enemies.

Waste time on some no gains NPCs is a silly thing unless you are full of trash time to spend like playing online games. However, I know that it is a common sickness like smoking or drugtaking.

It seems that you are so lucky, because you just like an alien in the game, who attracts someone come to listen about your complaints soon.  ;D

I rejoice that I've never made this while I were a cannon fodder. However, it's not unusual IMO.

Then let it be... I don't know how to do so without the privilege as well.

Ummmm, how about making a macro to perform those robot works then? I know that many people can do such things by plugins or Auto-it liked programs. The only drawback for that is the rise of unemployment rate... I guess.

Celebration to good new year! I've revised the tool to a final version. Hope that it's helpful to you.

*** The attachment cannot be accessed on the new server, so I upload it here:

Updated: I've fixed some unexpected bugs, try it again.

  • Maybe you are still thinking about it linearly, so I say it once more, the page you point it to me is a page about the UFOPedia contents that I don't think most people will care about it. Even you put the original english text into the place of the translation, no one will doubt about it is mysterious. I've said that UFOPedia was not my focused items in the above post, so I would just care about the UI/Interface ones. According to DarkRain's post, the UI related contents are only go in the .po file, so it's not a matter with those translated UFOPedia contents overwritten by english text.
  • Would you mind to code some lines of script that can directly copy the contents from the .po file to the wiki? IMO, a professional coder will never do something in complex if it can be done in simple, plus, this script will be helpful in future.
  • I cannot see the related page on the translation index.
  • Which button or link shall I push to modify the wiki in case it's necessary?

if it's not useful to the project, why do you share the binary?
It is somewhat like the tech tree diagram to help others understand and do it more efficiently.

The Chinese character set can be comprehended into 2 different ways, one simplified and another complex. The ONLY set I can find here is the simplified one, so I am afraid that I cannot help.

P.S. It seems that a complex version in HK is added somehow sometime.

please share the source and release it under gpl - not everyone here has windows
I consider this is not a good piece for share because:
1) It was coded in Delphi, which was not crossplatform compatible.
2) It was a quick and dirty program, not really friendly for others.
3) I am also selfish for some odd reasons that I won't share something that I don't want to share.

The final and most important reason above these points is, unless it is in C family, I will never release the source. At least till now, I don't see it is really useful to the project.

Merry Xmas, I've made an improved version of the tool, it really consumed my several hours on this holiday.

is the source for this available?
I usually don't keep anything if it is just for fun, so don't bother with this kiddie's toy. Sometimes, I am anxious about making the same serious mistake continuously in my life.
