Graphic problem on kubuntu 12.10
« on: April 20, 2013, 02:52:09 pm »
Hello,

I just installed ufoai from playdeb but when I launch it I've got some graphics problems. It seems that the bitmaps and textures aren't rendered correctly. Take a look at the screenshots below. I've got an nvidia 610M graphics card and an intel core i5 processor with 4 GB ram. Has anyone encountered similar problems? Is their a fix for this?

Thanks in advance.

I've fixed the problem. Looking at the ufoai log I've found out that the Mesa OpenGL driver was used. This was because I have two graphics adapters in my laptop, one from Intel and one from nvidia. After some googleing I found that I had to install bumblebee and run with the command "optirun ufo", and now my graphics are as they should be.
