Windows xp, but, just until I get a copy of linux.  Is been at least 6 years since I've been online (on going gf relationship) I dont know whats changed or whatever....  Unsure what distro to get but Ubunutu (unsure if thats the correct spelling) seems to be the one on distrowatch ive noticed recently.

I didnt have to complile any maps as far as im aware of... I cant find a compile_maps.bat, and maybe i need to look harder but as far as i can find is C:\Program Files\UFOAI-2.3\base\maps\tropic\tr_craft_ufo_harvester.map but its (288 KB) and not (230 kB unzipped)

Ok, here is a zip of the harvester.
- unpack it (you make backups, don't you ?)
- delete the harvester.bsp
- open a cmd.exe
- change to c:\ufoai
- type ufo2map maps/tropic (note the slash here !)
