Hello evry UFO-lovers :wink:

As the topic says i`m want to ask you a questions:
1. I made some models for the decoraion....and i`m not  sure how I can give it to You..... :roll: (what? i`m a beginner :?)

Ideas

1. Also you could give some pictures in the UFO-Pedia. Rendered screens of weapons(not 3D models), alien corpse etc.( I didn`t saw any...)
2. I have an idea for the interception.8) Just make it a simple game that shows the fighter and the UFO(top view). You just steer and fire...nothing complicated, I think.....
3. And in the base, when you build a new building, there should be a grid like in UFO: Enemy Unknown for example
4. And I think that the base is too dark.....

PS Sorry for the mistakes and stupid question and ideas :P

Ah...and congratulation! You made a perfect remake of UFO: Enemy Unknown! :D I love it! :wink:

Have you seen http://ufo.myexp.de/wiki/index.php/Contribute ?

Uploads on sf.net are limited to 250 KB, so perhaps
files need to be zipped into suitable sized packets.

Thanks :) I don`t understand much but I`ll try to :P

And I Have a new idea: there could be an onther organization(Y-COM maybe :roll: ). And the game could be somthing like a race: you see an UFO, next you send an interceptor, but the UFO is be shot down by the other organization. You can alway send a dropship there if it isn`t to late :roll:

What can't you find?

and 'Upload and Attach a File' there to present us with your creations. You can use SF even anonymously, IIRC.

Be prepared that you'll get scolded for wrong format, wrong polycount, etc. at the beginning. Just ask further questions and try to understand what is on the wiki about modelling and you should be fine, eventually. :)

I now that....yesterday I tryied to format the model.... "One face is without a texture map","model has 2 or more texture maps" etc.  And can you tell me how I can test my model? In game? How I can put this in the game :P  ?

This is a remake of UFO:EU, right? So You could make remakes fo aliens also:) Sectoid, Snakeman, Muton, Enthereal... memories....

This is not strictly a remake. Just an inspired game. We want not copyright problems, so no modelling of XCOM aliens... But there are some model requests in TODO on the wiki. Ask for more requests on the Artwork subforum (where this discussion belongs, BTW).

You can test models in game by exporting them to md2 and swapping some base/models/... files for your files.

I didn`t meant putting aliens from XCOM in 3D. I just though that they could look a bit simmilar to the oroginals....

And I have problem with exporting:
Blender dosen`t want to export files with a "non standard texture(256x256)".
Can I change this? :roll:

*The text are ready but I must fix some words and make the descriptions of the items in UFOpedia...
