First person view. Bug or feature?
« on: December 08, 2007, 07:37:26 pm »
I have a question about first person view (when 'v' is pressed).
When soldier is moving, he's (or 'camera' if you like) always look in one direction (direction, which was just before movement is started). Camera direction is not changing even if soldier's path have a turns. I think that 'camera' should follow path and rotate if soldier is turning. So, if soldier turning right, camera should turning right also.
And one more thing. Just because it's a 'view from the eyes' of soldier, I think in this mode you shouldn't see all these hidden stuff of other levels by default. Or, may be, there must be a mode in which I can see that soldier REALLY see. I hope that you'll get what I mean...

 Am I wrong?

It is useless because broken at this moment. If we are not straightening this before the the release, we are better of disabling the view altogether.

We have a TOTD about it, so if we're going to disable it we shouldn't forget to remove the TOTD too.
