ufo assault crash to desktop

I'm running ubuntu 9.10, on a hp mini netbook, with intel atom, and integrated intel graphics. i'm getting 20 to 30 fps during city missions, and the game is playing very smoothly, then 50fps during geoscape. The game however cuts to desktop when i try and land on a downed ufo, i had to click on auto complete mission. Is there any way i can do these missions?

i'm running version 2.2.1 which i got via www.playdeb.net.

any way to sort that out?

Install the music package. There is no music because you don't have them installed.

It will also solve the crash. There was a bug in 2.2.x when selecting a music randomly it could div by zero if you had no music installed.

Thanks geever, that worked a treat, the music has also added all the the atmosphere that i felt was missing! ;D
