New error r24692
« on: June 12, 2009, 04:58:22 am »
Tried to test out the latest version (haven't actually tested out any version in a while as I've been waiting for the pathfinding to get fixed).  I used my algorithm described here:  http://ufoai.ninex.info/forum/index.php?topic=3512.msg25955#msg25955
I could not get outside the building this time which was good, but when I crouched and went up the stairs it crashed to geoscape with "could not get le with id -1" in the log and then a whole bunch of "255 31 7," lines.

I attached the log.  It looks better though I tried a guy that started the turn crouched and I tried to make him go far away, instead of losing all his TUs he stood up and walked as far as he could.

A little more information as I can consistently repeat this:

On the dam map move up the the second floor.  Crouch and start going up the stairs to the third floor.  Click on 135, 138, 1 and it is gone (going to the third level and clicking 135, 138, 2 will get him to the top).

Also I wasn't watching for it and can't remember if anyone looked into this yet, but I was able to move into the same squares as civilians while I was repeating it (although no crashes from that or anything).

Not sure about your first problem, but the moving into the same block as civilians has occured to me-followed immediatly by a crash. If it crashed for you, then its probably the same issue with the pathfinding system. If it didnt crash, then...my guess would be the system didnt detect the civ, and so no problem arose

just tried it with 24702 and I got the same thing except in the log file the "Could not get le with id -1" line was gone.
