http://www.destructavator.com/ufoai/ufoai-2-4-dev-1303213072-Debug-full-win32.exe

Full installer, no special optimizations or modifications.  I built this one right before starting upload last night.

Please note that I didn't test it though - It might work, it might not.

I've tried downloading this multiple times but each time the installer fails an integrity check. It seems that it's been corrupted somehow.

Yeah, there's been talk on IRC about it - I'm not sure what went wrong, but I apologize, and I'll try to figure out what happened and make the next one I upload work.  Sorry about that.

No problem, it gave me the incentive to download Mutons script and roll my own :)
I'd upload it for others but I don't have anywhere to host it.

Hello

Just gotta say i love UFO:Ai, playing it since v 2.2 and coming back for more as i heard v 2.4 was on the works.

Im using the last version of the installer by Muton and i have a question, where are the files extracted before the install? I cancelled by mistake the install but according to the disk space some data was left behind, but there is nothing in the chosen game directory. This happened twice so i really need to know where this files are as im running out of space in the hard drive (i alrady checked Temp folder but nothing).

Thanks
whatname

Edit: Just found the file in Temp folder, but the hard drive space still seems messed. I guess something else is wrong. Thanks anyway and sorry to bring this one up.

Are there instructions anywhere on how to compile the files manually?  I have no idea how to use SVN files.

Yes, on our wiki site, start at Getting the source article.

Note, that we're using Git now, not SVN.

I tried and got into the git bash thing but then it said that -t was an unknown command. As I don't want to mess up my computer and I felt way over my head trying to implement those directions I may have to give this a pass. It looks great, but I am just not enough of a computer whiz to do that stuff. Thanks for the help though.

I just tried to use the updated and it wouldn't overwrite a pk3 and failed. How is this done?

*Edit* Forgot to give the exe administrator privileges

HOWEVER since updating to this all my base's radars seem to be broken. Coincidentally I recently tried upgrading a couple of them to Advanced Radar. Starting a new game yielded that my base's radar went "offline" (radius wasn't displayed and wasn't detecting anything) after my first UFO mission, so it must've been the updater.

If you can please post (in a separate thread, under our "bugs" section) a console log and perhaps a saved game where things are broken, it would help us figure out where the issue is in the game's code, thanks.  The online wiki should have information on how to get the log output and saved games, in case you haven't done it before.

Actually, if you happen to have a SourceForge account, it would likely be even better to open a ticket on the project bug tracker.

EDIT: Nearly forgot, Muton's posts have info on where you can find these things, located below his download links.

I'll try duplicating it, and if I can, offer before-and-after data sets alike come morning or a little later. Upon downgrading to the 2.4 offered as an installer, I think it was 1301086950, I discovered Advanced Radar have *massive* ranges. There needs to be compared statistics offered for buildings (probably the wrong section for this but) like Living Quarters holds 20 I only found out on impact. Radar ranges are different and other than a namechange there's no apparent indication of this before building. Labs and workshops employ ten. On aircraft descriptions and especially the finished-research reports so I can decide before investing if I want it, what their loadouts are, and how big a hangar they need. Game needs to be more data-redundant, it helps!!!
