I'm wondering whether there is a "list of changes" somewhere. I did a brief search of the wiki but couldn't find one. If there is one, please tell be because I'm considering whether to install this new version (I'm playing an older 2.3 Version at the moment and I'm of course curious for the new stuff).

Is it worth installing the newest one if I'm playing 26304 at the moment?

Tnx a lot in advance!

Andy - still a great fan of the game

Sorry if this is the wrong section, I'm new here. But a veteran UFO fan. ;)

I didn't have time to test this one, but if it works, have fun with it:

http://www.destructavator.com/92dl/UfoAi_Dev_r27240.exe

Edit: Please note that this installer is larger in size than previous ones, with new content added and such.  I don't know if this one would fit on a CD or not.  Also, all the maps were fully re-built.
I previously had v2.2.1 installed but from what I read v2.3 is pretty good, so I uninstalled v2.2 and downloaded and installed r27240.
The problem is I can't start a campaign. Whenever I choose new campaign I get to the geoscape which seems to be trunkated at the left and right edge (can't see the american continent) and some also truncated green text appears. After a few seconds I get an assertion failure* and whatever I do the game closes.
I haven't changed any of the options at first, but changing them doesn't seem to do anything.

* Assertion failed!
Program: E:\Program Files (x86)\UFOAI-2.3-dev\ufo.exe
File: D:\UFOai\src\client\renderer\r_state.c
Line: 58

Expression: texnum > 0

...

I can play Multiplayer and Skirmishes just fine. However [e] immediately closes the game when there's no opponent. Is this intentionally?

So since the renderer seems to be the problem, some specs about my machine:
Windows XP Professional x64
AMD Athlon X2 4800+
GeForce 9600GT
2 GB RAM

Any help on how to fix this issue or a hint on the latest version with a working campaign mode would be very much appreciated.

Thanks in advance.
Nude.

P.S. From what I can see in the battlescape and options menu you guys have done very good work, so keep it up!  8)

can you include the "intl.dll" file into the project folder? running the game, i get an error that this file isnt there. i at first must download the file, then it will work.

sorry but with "project folder" i thought about the installation dir. because it isnt included in the latest compiled build for win (ufoai-2.3-dev-27416-Debug-P3sse-small-win32.exe) and  a "normal" user maybe will not download the file from the internet (and maybe doesnt know how to get it from SVN) and assume that the game does not run on his / her computer.

i've just reinstalled the game after a clean uninstall
intl.dll wasn't requested

Delete all files from you rootfolder of ufoai and reinstall the game

I've installed it on a computer that has never had ufo ai on it and it was complaining about the missing intl.dll for me, too.
Copying the file over from the previous package (installed after encountering the problem) does help the problem. Maybe this file should be included in future packages as well.

You can grab it from SVN (here) as a workaround.

I have to agree - Every time I re-install Windows XP on my desktop then set up UFO: AI that dll isn't included with Windows.

this is due to a wrong compile environment - which c::b package was used to build the installer?

Alright, I'm going to update my C::B package to the latest with the .sh script again, then re-compile the latest SVN revision of the game and do a few tests to see what I can confirm...

Edit: I recall some builds asked for the dll and others did not in the past.
