transfer of saves between game versions
« on: June 21, 2008, 10:04:35 am »
Guys,

if UFO:enemy unknown was the single best computer game in history IMHO, this pretty much defines how much I like your excellent software. Thanks a LOT for your work.

My question: Is it possible to transfer the saved games between game versions, i.e. will it be possible to transfer the team, bases, equipment etc. from 2.2.1. to 2.3. and further?

If yes, how? (PC, Windows XP)

Thanks again and keep up the good work!!!

There have been significant changes between 2.2 and 2.3.

It does mean the game structure has changed substantially and that saves wont work.  But really you'll need to start from the beginning anyway in 2.3.
