Another "bug" topic

(2.2 branch - rev 12562 - 2007-10-19)   
   
Geoscape:   
- The 3D geoscape doesn't works - SCREEN
2D Geoscape: 
- If i save when showing new mission before ship launching and after that i pick "last saved game" the ship gets on magically on mission place - SCREEN
-when i set on screen edge in  middle of base, theres strange track shown - SCREEN
- UFO stuck in one place on map and fly up and down all the time. SCREEN1 SCREEN2
 
Base: 
-After getting plasma grenade the picture of it is shown at missile turrets - SCREEN 
-If weapons/items group in craft is empty, its possible to put an armour to any slot )after choosing it and go to weapons/items group and click on install button) - SCREEN
 
Missions:   
- confirm movement: When i click soldier move somewhere and click again in this place or somewhere else, the line of movement wrongly changes from blue to red - SCREEN1 SCREEN2
- When nade/grenade goes after maps end, its falls below map. And the grenade instead of sink in water, it bounces on it. 
   
Sound & Music:   
- There is a problem with music, geoscape music is played all around, even in game in missions:

Can you explain that a little more please - which base? the first one? did you select that mission on geoscape? and so on.

That should already be fixed in a later revision

Please tell me which map that was - looks like i missed some maps when i updated the maps with the water brush flags

Sorry, i try bright it up more:
When on Geoscape shows mission i save game (i didn't send ship, it stayed in base.). After that when i quit current game and pick again singleplayer and "continue" button (the last saved game), the ship gets automatically on mission place (like on screen) and i can't nothing do. If i instead of continue use load and pick saved game, everything is ok.

One question: the 3D Geoscape is added in this beta installers? on beta site there is video showing it in action.

is this black geoscape bug still "alive"?

i've added some more opengl error checks to latest trunk revision.

try to set the cvar r_checkerror to 1

Yes, it's still actual. I downloaded the latest beta installer (2.2 branch - rev 13069 - 2007-11-21) and still have black geoscape. Earlier i have Ubuntu 7.04 now i got 7.10, grahpic card same like earlier (GF FX 5200).

I checked this SourceForge link, making gamma high didn't help me. Are those opengl error checks in this beta installer? (2.2 branch - rev 13069 - 2007-11-21)

did you try to reduce the max texture resolution in the video options menu?
activated texture compression?

the r_checkerror cvar should be in that installer, yes

you seam to have some script file errors - are you sure, that you've removed old installations and are not using a savefile from older versions?

Yes i did try reduce texture resolution and texture compression. Changed other options too on/off and still negative effect.   
The installation of game is fresh - i format HDD and install new Ubuntu 7.10 some time ago.
