I make an new one, maybe this is better ( 360 poly's non rectangle).
If you like more detail, of course then you get more poly's.
But I can add a lot of detail with the texture.

It's a good model, but I have to agree with BTAxis here -- it's too generic. People need to distinguish this from the other aircraft at a glance, and we need to see some alien technologies such as antimatter engines represented in the design.

Also, it can have a good few more polies, no problem. Between 1000-1500 would be perfectly acceptable.

Winter

even if winter won't accept this model as phalanx or ufo aircraft - i would like to beg you to finish this one. i've plans to do a military hangar map - and need some helicopters and fighters for this. this seams to fit into such a map - but i agree with winter and btaxis, too - a little bit more details and for a none-static-mapmodel it's too generic...

nevertheless good job

best regards
martin

Oh, yes, I hadn't even considered that. It'd be excellent for that purpose given a nice texture.

OK, I first make an landing gear, add some details and texture this one.

When this is ready , I make  an realistic Scifi aircraft with futuristic things.

I am  now also texturing the car, and working on the highlights.

Willem

Edit :

BTW don't you need models, that have been destroyed ? like blowing up cars, airplanes or something, to make the scene more realistic ?

looks very cool, too - but for alien aircraft we should wait for winters or btaxis' response

nice job again - you are fast with new models ;-)

Hmm, it's not really in keeping with our UFO style (see the Gallery on the homepage for pictures), but it looks like it would be good for a human-built craft with alien technology in it.

Would you mind if I made some changes to the model, and then gave it back to you for texturing? That way we'd end up with a more unified style.

If it's okay, could you send the model to me/post it here in .obj or .3ds format?

Thanks!

Regards,
Winter
