Experience is gained separately for each skill. Experience is awarded during missions as shown.

  • 50 × (weight / strength) / ke points
    where weight is the average weight carried during the mission, and ke (the "encumbrance modifier") is:
1.0 for 'bonus' stages
0.7 for 'normal' stages
0.4 for 'penalty' stages
  • Limited to 125 points per mission
1 Speed
  • 0.2 points for every point gained in any other skill
  • Limited to 91 points per mission
2 Accuracy
  • 40 points per enemy hit
  • 60 points per enemy hit by sniping
  • Limited to 450 points per mission
3 Mind
  • 100 points per enemy kill
  • 50 points per mission
  • Limited to 450 points per mission
4 Close
  • 180 points per enemy hit using the "Close" skill
  • Limited to 680 points per mission
5 Heavy*
  • 180 points per enemy hit using the "Heavy" skill
  • Limited to 680 points per mission
6 Assault
  • 180 points per enemy hit using the "Assault" skill
  • Limited to 680 points per mission
7 Sniper
  • 180 points per enemy hit using the "Sniper" skill
