Official Description

Especially built to defend against plasma weapons, the Electrostatic Shield is more of a carriable electrode than a shield. The electric field created in front of it repels all plasma particles, but attacks from other types of weapon will just pass through it. The covered area is 3m wide.

Battle Implications

Reduces hit probability for plasma weapons by 100%, no other weapons are influenced. This shield completely negates attacks from plasma weapons.
