I am sorry.
« on: June 07, 2018, 12:02:01 am »
Greetings, fellow players and devs, I just remembered how much fun I had playing the game before university started taking up most of my time. And I can say that I have missed you all.

But I tried remembering my login details for something else, something that was on my mind for all these years - I am sorry that I was that cringy kid back in 2010, who had been asking for random stuff, crazy ideas that were a waste of everyone's time.

I remember the days I bugged Geever and Destructavator all the time, among many others, I sincerely apologize.

A word to Destructavator, even though he might not appear to read this - thank you. You have inspired me to play the guitar, to try to improvise when playing. I have also not forgotten the song you wrote, it's ringing in my head to this day.

And now I'll take the back seat and keep quiet, launch the game like many times before, and just enjoy it.

Thank you for your time reading this,
Thrashard (formerly Paul1uz5)

I think it happens quite frequently that people take a break.

I took a time-out more or less, due to reallife-related reasons.

Reallife is still a major reason why I am not playing as many
games as I used to do, but about a month or two I started
to play wesnoth a bit and it improved a LOT.

Today I had a look at UFO AI since I remember that the game
was great when I played it some years ago. It's nice to see that
the game is still around - hopefully the momentum can be maintained
or expanded. It's always difficult to keep open source games running.

The webforum works though which is good. And as can be seen by
the post above, old people sometimes return too. (Old in the sense
of returning people, not necessarily their absolute age) :)
