FuzzyScreen Overlay
« on: April 24, 2017, 11:32:24 pm »
FuzzyScreen overlay, the "textile" like effect on the new UI received some criticism since it was added. To decide whether it should stay or go I would like to see how the opinions distribute. Please vote!

Imho the problem is that drawn over all other nice graphics, making them blurry. If possible to make it to background (below all others) to fill only the empty areas then can stay, otherwise better if not applied by default. For those who like it a new checkbox in the settings screen would be good which turn on manually.

I voted to keep it however if it was removed I wouldnt be too upset. I guess adding an option button in settings would be my preferred solution but appreciate this would require much more work.

I voted "I don't like it", but, as said above, adding an option to toggle this fuzzy layer would be a good solution.

The truth is that planned to add a "make it configurable" choice as well, however I realized that (almost) everyone would choose that option because we are polite people who care about others opinion. And that's not what I wanted. :) Also making it configurable may raise more questions than what it solves...

Hmm, I have to admit I expected a lot more votes...
