Disassemble
« on: September 03, 2013, 07:38:18 pm »
hi guys! Hi have the las 2.5 deviation, from August.

How can I disassemble a ship? I think I am missing something...

I already researched the fighter and UFO theory. I have free hangars, workers, etc. But everytime I click on "star this production" (on the fighter, under the disassemble tab) nothing happens. Whats happening?

From your description it seems you did everything as you should. If you attach the save, I will take a look and try to help you out there.

I tested the save and to me it works fine. I describe the clicks, just to make sure we are not missing something: Production - Disassembly - select a UFO - Start this production. This puts the selected UFO on the very top of the list (two lines above the others) and workers start doing their job.

If it doesn´t work for you, please update to a recent version. There is no bug I know which could cause this, but ...

I advice to change to a new build. Had the same problem with a build from mid to late august. Changing to a new build solved the problem for me.

Does the command "c" for crouching work for you? In both versions I tried, it was broken.

Hey guys!

In fact I still get the problem. I cant disassemble. I did everything right exactly as you said. Nothing happens. Maybe its kind of a bug, I dont know.

About the crouch key, is not working. I will download a new version. Can I keep my saves?

If not, I really dont care; i never get tired of this game :D

I don't mean to state the obvious, but you know that the disassembly is not immediate, right? Like research or other production, you will start the job and then your workers will eventually complete the disassembly after enough time has passed.

H-Hour, the disassemble will not go to the queue as other productions. As you can see worked with Shiplt (in my own savegame) but not with me. And I did exactly as he said: Production - Disassembly - select a UFO - Start this production. But then it wont go to the [top, neither any other position] list. This is strange.

Check my image and see how it looks right after clicking on Start This Production.

There was a bug like this in early August IIRC but it has been fixed weeks ago. Please download a new build.
