UFOs have superior radar techs, so them should have the chance to landing before being intercepted, to escape from overnumber air forces (with proper misson name - Mission: emergency landing - or the like), and a (minor) chance to take off when firebirds are in proximity, to attack them: so the player will be coerced to take cover his landing teams.

Would be great too if, when landed because of interception, after some time (2 or 3 hours for example) appeare 1 or 2 reinforcement Ufo fighters whom immediately direct agaist Phalanx air forces's.
