Flashbangs - Working or not?

Title says it all. Should flashbangs be working in current 2.4 release? Do they work as described in pedia?
If not implemented already also feel they should be in Full 2.4 release.

I don't think they are working yet. We're in feature-freeze for 2.4, so only bug fixes before it's released. But maybe it will happen during 2.5's development period.

Mattn tested and found them working AFAIR.

Hi, first Post

I have a question about Flashbangs. Where do they need to go to have the desired effect? Do they need to land between the feet of the alien or do the have a spash radius like say a frag granade, and do they need to land in front of the alien or do they work regardless where the alien is facing?

I only ask, because I found them to be not reliable in very tight maps like "Highrise".

Regarding flashbangs:
Are they suposed to work on "robotic aliens" also? (blood spiders, hovernets...)
