There is also a binary-only package available. Use this only if you know what you are doing - as a player you should just use the above linked full-installer.

These installers are rebuilt each night - the build-system behind it will also build the final release installers. So testing and reporting problems is very welcome.

Add build type and revision number
Zip all *.log files from "%appdata%\ufoai\2.4\base" and
the effected savegame from "%appdata%\ufoai\2.4\base\save"

Could you clarify what you mean by "Use the update utility in your startmenu to get the latest nightly"? I don't see any option either in the Windows startmenu, the game folder, or the game itself. Is there any way to update? I find myself having to download the full installer.

the official installer doesnt contain the update utility
