Language selection and OpenSUSE 11.4 (YAST2 ready-packaged 2.3)

Hi all, I was struggling to get briefing and story text despite settings as follows:

user@suse:~> echo $LANG
en_GB.UTF-8

English simply wasn't in the list - everything else was!

Turns out the answer is this post here - copying (after backing up, obviously  ) the stated file got everything working.
