no geo map shown

i am new to the game so, its possible that i just missed something but after i start the campaign, i get the menus and no map...

its not stuck since i can place my base (blindly) but the map doesnt show up, passing some time and playing with some video option changed nothing.

here i added a screenshot to illustrate the problem:

did you try to disable shaders? please attach ufoconsole.log

mattn, thanks disabling the shaders fixed it for me, thanks  :D
although i might have encountered another problem, after Alt+Tab the cursor is stuck in the left upper corner but its not that important.

there is a thread about this issue already (and a work-around) this is a sdl bug

anything simple, for someone who have no idea what sdl bug is, something like dl patch and install otherwise its just to much of bother.
in any case thinks for your help.

Did you check this thread?

Just download the attached file (SDL.7z) and unzip it to your ufoai folder (overwriting the one there)

And please give feedback if you do

thanks this worked.

only now i have another 2 bugs, when i entered a mission all of the textures was made of latter's 123456789qwertyyuui.... i assume i have nother video setting problem or its some kind of default texture that where loaded because of some other problem, so i tried to go to windowed mode to take a screenshot but now i keep getting this problem: http://ufoai.ninex.info/forum/index.php?topic=4935.0 every time enter a mission ( not sure how do i make console_log.txt to help you out with this)

EDIT:
tried skiping few mission still the same, scout/base attack hangs at Awaiting Game Start (0)
one more thing that thread i linked to is in the 2.4 subforum but i have the 2.3

ko i just started a new game and avoided the hang at the 'Awaiting Game Start (0)'
but still the same textures problem,this time i made screenshot using the ingame F12, here:

EDIT: fixed it,there was another shader related setting GLsomething and setting light to normal worked.
and since i started a new game i there was no more 'Awaiting Game Start (0)' occurrences, so finnaly i just finished an hour+ gameplay   ;D

upload your ufoconsole.log please - maybe your graphic card just does not support shaders well or your drivers are not up-to-date?

as i said in the previous post i am not sure how to make the ufoconsole.log, since then i found this link in the sticky

so i only need to to bring the console and type there "+set developer 1"
for the shader thingy, do i need to turn the shaders on?
should i only use it for reproducible bugs and starting it just before or should i run it always?
does it work if the games hangs or i alt+f4?
does it helps if the bug already happened? ( i had once the "stunned bug" where after stunning the last allien the spoted counter stayed 1 and the mission didnt end)

i also encountered similar bug to this Base attack starts then imediatly jumps to geoscape.
and one more bug with one jungle map where the spaceship layout is fucked up and you cannot go upstairs (it was already reported i seen it somewhere)
