So then it's definately UFO. It's not a case of radiant writing something wrong to the .map, nor is it ufo2map putting bad stuff in the .bsp. It's in UFO somewhere.

Why then are x86 compiled maps so much worse than local maps?

Need to test GLSL shader and x86 compiled maps...
