Forest maps have some seriously poisonous saplings since the soldiers don't seem to go within ten feet of them.

Attached are some edited screenshots that show just how much of a roadblock the certain kinds of fir tree sapling is. Looks like the object is sitting in three or four different squares at the same time even though it would well fit within a single square. This means that the soldiers need to go a long way around. Red means impassable, blue means valid movement path.

If it's a randomly placed object, then it may cause problems with battlescape if it spawns in the wrong place and ends up blocking something important.
