Hi everyone

I was realy happy to found this website and to join to help upgrade this classical game ''remake''.
I just downloaded the my 2nd version couse I started with the missing frame version and just red after that everybody else already fixed this problem.
So I got the latest today and got the first problem.
Loading screen fully loaded then nothing more happens.......the Mac continues work on nothing.
I attached the report for my post. I hope it will help.
I have a MacBook Pro i5 2.4 GHz with snow leo (OSX 10.6.6)

I wish good luck and passion for further work.....

Yep..and the config.cfg what I just created and modified didn't help at all for me. :(

Can we just play without the intro? It isn't like we can't find the story somewhere else..

best wishes,

Not sure if this is the wright thread. Trying to get this game working on my mac - first link crashed on opening - I see on here that it is a know issue (Why's the link still up then???) I saw there was another version which was supposed to work - 2.4 but just said this - You can’t open the application “UFOAI” because it’s not supported on this type of Mac.

I'm runnning 10.6.6 on an intel macbook.

Does adding that file cif thingy help? if so can someone do a complete idiots guide to doing that as I don't have the first clue where to start doing something like that.

If not any updates?

 - feel that at the very top of the mac forum an announcement / info about current problems might help!?

that might help you, unless you know more about compiling and disc images and binaries than I do.

Still trying to get some kind of X-com game to work on my mac. So if I download the above file thats a working version of the game? I don't get computers. All I have the ability todo is click and play. Is that what the above link does? No compiling or having to save stuff into bin/data folders or edit subfolders etc etc...?

Ok so I downloaded it and ....  You cannot open application UFOAI because it is not supported on this type of mac (intel macbook running snow leopard). And I now have the UFOAI image as one of my places, just under the applications folder, and can't for the life of me remove it. Cheers guys.
