use the ambient light setting for the geoscape in the options to increase the brightness.

Well I have been busy and disapeared, so I pull the latest version of ufoai from svn and this problem still persists :(.

Oh well.

Actually it was fixed a long time ago - Its an option in one of the option sub-menus, could you not find it?

If you really get stuck I'll try to come up with a screenshot of where the option is.

Or, did you find the option and find it doesn't work?

Edit:  I see that Mattn replied at the same time I typed my post - Hopefully you now have enough information to adjust the game to your liking.  If not, or if the option doesn't work, please let us know.

I did not even think of twiddeling with the settings, now that i have done so it works. Thanks a lot. :)
