actually you and I are on the same continent.  I'm in afghanistan,  My internet is via Satellite and i think it hits the hardwire Internet in hong kong.   so you and I are netwise not as far as you think.
 
that directory passes SVN check.  no more crashing.  I managed to update several hundred megs more before it crapped out in base\sound\ambience.  are you willing to shoot me that one?

Btw, the nx one is a bit too big to send cos the compression ratio is smaller.

Do We Need Another Rebuilding of Maps?

Complete map compile today took exat 60 minutes (R25029).

Eh? Whatever was this for????
(PS: Any of the developers can confirm that we need a complete map rebuilt again??)

My last was yesterday's 25017.

There were NO map related commits between 25015 and 25030.
Maybe he just compiled them for fun ? Or to figure out how long it really takes ?

Ok. I myself just finished recompiling the maps and the i7 just needed a little less than 44 minutes :)

Probably the last time (when it took me 2++ hours) I used the *debug* version of ufo2map...

Oh, nods. Thanks. Yupz, i noted the changes - mainly prefabs related stuff..... Btw, these prefabs are objects for use rite? I dun see any maps updates in the compilation too (compile_maps.bat). Do keep me posted (see other thread in maps section) when there is a need again to recompile maps (supposedly a fix for PF bug). :D
