I've been playing the v.2.1.1 quite much in multiplayer mode with my friends (almost every day actually). I immediately noticed the uselessness of laser weapons. So after noticing that and reading the forum a bit, I downloaded the laser weapons in the trunk. And they did feel quite much better but still I felt something was missing. Then I decided to take a look at the weapon preferences, and they weren't that hard to modify. After modifying the weapons and testing/tweaking them with my friends for a few weeks, I think I found a good balance in power/TU/ammo -wise.

Here's some changes compared to the version in trunk:
Laser Pistol - More effective, requires more TU
Laser Rifle - Closer to Heavy Laser in trunk, slightly more effective and more accurate
Heavy Laser - Almost completely new, 3 firemodes, somewhere between chaingun and pbeamcannon in usage. Less effective than pbeamcannon of course. "New" effect and sound in Overload firemode.
Basic idea of the weapons is still the same, not that powerfull, low TU requirements and small clips.

Package also includes edited textures for the weapons and clip.

All testing has been done in multiplayer, but it should work in singleplayer as well... right?
