Well, i know that im not a thing for the development of the game, apart begging for a new release. Or some who can impliment the new features/changes in the svn directories?

Still, does someone now if there will be a new techdemo soon?

Thx a lot for the freelance developpers who take some time to improve this great game.

there are many things that need to be finished first and bugs that needs to fixed first.

but there will be a lot of improvements in the new version. some of them are:

• a lot of new weapons (see media section)
• some new maps
• bigger units (ugv and maybe some bigger aliens, too)
• many changes in basemanagement, researching and interception handling
• some new translations
• new font-system
• partially implemented storyline
  
• many bugfixes
• many new bugs ;-)

but to say something about the date:
"it's done when it's done" [John Carmack]

so stay tuned. join the irc channel to get the latest svn builds if it's impossible for you to build them yourself - and report bugs on the tracker. this will make the next release appear faster.
