What do I need to build a hospital?

Question in the topic line - in one of my bases, hospital does not appear in the buildings list. What prerequisites are there for building a hospital?

Only requirement is a power plant. If you have a power plant and it doesn't appear, it's probably already in your base. Starting base includes one.

Yes, my bad, there was already a hospital in the base. Curious that it disappears from the list after building one, unlike any other structure.

I checked that it's like with all other structures in that it's possible to build a hospital without a power plant, it's just not operational until there's a working powerplant in the base.

Some buildings have limit to how many you can build in base, like hospital or defense silos. Once the limit is reached, they will disappear from list.

Just how many defences can you build, by the way? Two are enough to take down pretty much anything currently included anyway.

Well, lasers, anyway but the missiles just don't seem worth it anyway.
