Single-player skirmishes?

Well, it's a self-explanatory idea. Basically the option to play a quick match against the computer (whether they be aliens or human), or watch the computer play against the computer; I dunno why but I like watching two computer opponents fight in tactical games, and I'm sure a lot of other people do too.

Just force start a co-op 2 multiplayer game for the time being. I agree though that an offline, singleplayer skirmish mode should be availible. A computer vs computer observer mode may also be interesting as well.
