Hi,

I'm playing UfoAi2.6, german language. After a groundbattle (defend base) the saves are corrupted.
As i was playing the vers. 2.5 i had the same issues. Is there a possability to fix it?
How can i avoid this in the future? Play the game in englisch language?

I have no chanc to add the savegame. I get always the message Cannot access attachments upload path!

Now Freenode did suicide action dropping all nick and channel reservation.

as freenode no longer is stable place, rules change daily basis.
We decided to do similar movement as most FLOSS projects and switch to irc.libera.chat

channel on freenode as still exist should be treated as abandoned and not official.

Yes, it is possible. It is just soooo much work, even Microprose sold it in a sequel product rather than adding it into their original X-Com game. We have no resources to do all the Maps, Models, Textures, Engine changes, Story-line and Gameplay changes, Balancing to have that bit of an eye-candy feature.

Not a native speaker myself, but "are not met" sounds to be the right form, because of the "passive voice" structure.
I was debating about leaving the "do" there to emphasize for a bit, but may not be correct, not sure. You know, even add an extra "do" to a statement to add more emphasis to it.

"Research prerequisites of %s are not met at %s. Research halted!"
I believe.
The verb 'do' is o.k. in English sentences as opposed to e.g. German. I'm not a native speaker though.

No.
You need to project the flight route of UFOs and plan where to shoot them down accordingly. Sometimes it's just not possible though and better to sink it before it enters a large area without radar cover.
