First, sorry but I must ask because I never worked with this.

Do I need to use gettext, if yes can you give me short hints as Im really lost here.

I downloaded po editor, Im browsing your repository. If I understood this I need to translate all *.po files?

I see english po file. I must install git hub to get it, then translate it and upload it back?

Sry once more but Im new to git and I wanna start translating but many things are confusing for me as first time user. I also never used get text so Im confused here too.

For now I:

- downloaded and installed po editor
- registered to git
- browsed your repository
- downloaded gettext - but dont know how to use it nor why :D
- I dont understand why I need over 2 GB of free space for git hub...do I need git hub at all?

I plan to download po english file (didnt figure it how for now and I must go out so I will continue later) that was changed 22 days ago and open it in po editor.

btw. I forgot but I bet you already know...same is with hovernet and that spider robot (its morning I really cant remember the name :D).

Later in the game there is only battle versions of both :)

Well, you all id great work here with this game. Best UFO inspired game there is and that is amazing considering how much money is being spent on crappy ufo clones and they stay just that..crap!

Problems are:

- missing kerrblades - you solved it
- plasma pistol occurring only at the beginning of the game
- needler gun also occurring only at the beginning of the game
- unarmored ortnok, unarmored tamans also occurring only at the beginning of the game.

I think scouts should be piloted by lightly equipped soldiers, maybe fighters too.

geever tends to see all modders as 'cheaters' that want to overcome/exploit his carefully designed limitations in the code. Bare with him. He's still a nice guy ;)

Is it possible to change % of appearances of alien weapons?

In 2.5 I encountered plasma pistol only in first few missions and never again + kerrblade never occured.

Hello,

As for 200 Alien Interest, no Kerrblades appeared in my game yet (Standard Difficulty, using nightly build of 2.5 from December).

After over 250 encounters not a single kerrblade in 2.5. Is it possible to edit savegame and place one in inventory or modifing some game file?

Gunboats will attack, in almost 100% cases. Corrupters in I would say 30-40%. I encountered bombers only 5 times and I let them land so I can take UFO undamaged.

Fighters will also chase interceptors but they r piece of cake!

Try this tactic with gunboats!

It is possible to lure ufos with you interceptors so they enter SAM area to soften them before sending interceptors or you could lure single ufo (gunboat is best target for such tactics) multiple times until SAM rockets take them down :)

Btw. this should be edited in future versions. Aliens should be able to learn after few successful luring actions to avoid SAM sites.

I did not encounter it in 2.5 late game/2.6 early. Is this UFO featured in these versions?
