will there be a 2.3.2 build soon?
bought a nvidia card last week and now i am waiting for a new stable-ubuntu-build. sorry for the question, but i am a bit excited :).
2 month ago i managed to get xubuntu running, but still dont think its too easy to compile the game myself.

how much "server" do all ufo games need? what would be the difference? first one sounds perfect.

btw. why shows this list sometimes around 270, sometimes 230 and sometimes around 180 missing licenses? sometimes unused pics are counted sometimes not.

not playing 2.4dev. cant see how many red textures there are atm. but the 211 unknown textures in the list are maked as unused. thats why i ask. some weeks ago there were 272 and all were used. was just so glad to see all that "unused" and cant imagine where the texytures could be used without maps. sadly there must be a mistake in that thinking.
anyway. did i already mention that i like to follow all ure progress :).

the small soldier is really a great idea :). much better than just a big face.

main idea of widescreen-suppport is to keep the center (x) free and set all information in the left and/or right side of the screen (y).

widescreen:
i would set as much as possible of the gui in the corners or the right and left side.

EDIT:
but ure on the right way and i am sure that the new gui will be better.
- the healthbar of the active soldier or the list of all soldiers shoulnt be in the middle of the screen.
- i like to see the active soldier with his health in a corner (the upper-left maybe).

EDIT 3:
well... quick edit of ure graphic.
but this will be bad for non widescreend users. so maybe enough, when active soldier and his moral/health is in the upper-left corner.

i also think there is sometimes a bit too much text and that the pictures could be bigger.

many people like me today use widescreens. thats why i like interfaces that also use the left and right side of the screen.

mor2, i dont like the dots very much. i liked ure version with the active soldier having a normal border more.

Can anyone think of anything I've missed? The wiki mentions two other armour models (hover/psi) but they're not in-game yet so they wouldn't be a requirement for replacing the existing models.
the question is: are these armours not in game yet, because there are no models or because missing code?

btw.: great work origin and more and better looking heads would be great ;).

every video is better, destructavator. just missing the little video of the ufo in the hud of the plane. liked that.

can or cant u write some english things on the video?
(best with in a typewriter-style *g*. not nice from me just to make suggestions, but i like ure work)
something like:
- when u see the earth and the ufo:
"earth 2084" or "year 2048"?
- when u see the snowy montains:
"Mumbai, year 2048, afternoon"

hm... or a translated intro like in starwars is needed.
is a later translatet textoverlay possible?
i know there was a discussion about that, cant find it and cant remember latest solution.

EDIT: wasnt the mainship in the orbit bigger?
