If game dont auto collect all weapons after mission there is a bug. But you have to research alien weapons if you want to use it. Did you research them? At least one alien weapon have to be in base where you are researching.
Also post screen of battle results. You can see there how many alien weapons were collected.

you see, when you want to change something in open source project its best to learn something, because people usually change thing the way they want. and that is rarely the same way you want.
suggestions are good, making suggestion a reality that was is really needed... most of the time.

i like to add command center west of entrance and living quarters south and north of it. since most aliens spawn near entrance i get lots of snipers in position in second round.

i have pilots with 30+ targeting and evading. and im sure they get less hits (purely my observation - it might be wrong). version is 2.6 about 6 months ago.

yes they do improve. and yes they have effect. piloting dont improve but targeting and evading do.

anyway drones can be hacked. so manned aircrafts will surely be here for a long long time. remember how cylons hacked galactica.

used to have 3 lines so it seemed like 3 slots.

anyway instead of sam site it could be called aa site. and we could add missiles or energy aa weapons like laser or some other that we dont have yet.

those could be "regular" rockets but more advance launchers. like alien launcher but with completely human rocket. no anti matter or no plasma war head. maybe super small nuclear head or fusion one... i do have feeling that against alien bombers those would be very useful.
and why does sam site have 3 places but we can only use 2 of them?

i think it implemented and probably never will be. but i guess those alien would be without weapons. they would have to go to warehouse to pick up weapons.
