You are not really factory to make profit out of your produced items... but maybe something like if one thing is worh 100 than you would pay 100 for buying, get 70 for selling and need 60 for producing it.
I also think alien ammo is a little to expensive while alien materials and antimatter could be worth more.

Best way to defend base is to get your soliders in living quarters top floor and when alens come closer you just shoot them through wall with sniper rifle.

One improvment however could be made. Since you know aliens are comming you could have option to choose where your men would start defense. At least in witch building.

Better take more ammo for sniper rifle instad od pistol. You dont need medikits on every solider. Just make sure if you split your Groups that every group has at least 2 soliders with medikits. You also dont need IR goggles on sniper since using it will probably left with not enough TUs for shot anyway.

Never had any problems with weight in 2.5 version. And after 65 missions all of my soliders can easily carry power armour, weapons, additional ammo, few granedes, and medikit.

Plasma blaster is great for RF at close range.

But sniper rifle is my favorite. And as long as aliens will stuck i will be.

With pure observation it seems that aircraft armours istn so good. I didnt see much difference anyway. Also trained pilots dont seem to be much better.
And question. When pilot is shot down, how much time does he need to come back to base?
Both of these are 2.5 version.

Jagged Alliance Online is Turnbased
Fun to play, but really underpowered if you dont use real money.

Less than 1 is 0 ;)
Once i had problems with shavar surviving one shot from assult rifle and 5 shots from machine gun from next grid. Than shavar just shot both of my soliders...
Yes 2.5 is harder that 2.4... Much harder. But only real problem is that in battlescape there is no difference between very hard and very easy dificoulty. Well little difference that aliens get better weapons later... But still not enoight difference.
If your soliders die too much in battles than do auto battles. Mostly you get better resoults than on battlescape. If not jst reload till you get 0 casualites.

Thanks to ask me this :)
Indeed, it comes from my player experience at starcraft and other RTS (real time strategy games). Of course in those games you have to be so fast that hearing your troops responding or not, is crucial because you wont take the time to look at each soldier to know if he is up or down.

The idea here is not to save time, it 's turn based, but anyway to give the player some comfort by saving some checks. Just one example. Imagine you are pressing at key numbers to select your guys. Maybe if you do that fast and often you would prefere not to watch your keyboard to be sure you hadn't missed the key. A voice can help here, and in many other aspect that we could call "gaming comfort".
So you mean each of your soliders would have unique voice and you would recognize them by voices? Thats a lot of different voices...

look what it says under Crystan's avatar ;)
Hmmm... ;D
Its just me that i dont really care about sounds in games except for sounds that are important. Like sounds in stealth games or voices witch give you some information. But soliders saying affirmative just isnt priority for me. But thats just me. If people like talking troops thats fine with me.

Soldiers voices increase the controle over your troop.
Sorry but just dont see how. Your troops saying affirmative and/or other similar words would increase control over them?
