Always keep in mind that playability comes first, realism is only second.
I agree that if you stand behind a door, waiting for some foe to come out/in, pulling the trigger should take nearly NO time at all. In RL. No problem to implement.

But how would you clear a building then ? In RL, you'd throw some sort of grenade into the room before entering it. Now think of a map with many buildings/rooms eg. a hotel. It would take ages plus tons of grenades. No fun.

1. in 2.5 ufos come in waves. 1-2 weeks without ufos is normal. But 6 weeks ?? idk
2. speed at 12hrs is a bad idea. You get less events due to a known design bug. Let ufo run overnight at 5min speed to see the difference.

Either in the thread I linked above or somewhere else on these forums I already mentioned that the bots have *human* assistants. So the questions has to be difficult even for humans in order to keep those assistants out.

We've had many/enough new users since that question has been set up. And losing some potential users that are not willing/able to spend some thought on the registration riddle should raise the average quality of the posts here ;)

Afaik nothing regarding bombers was changed in 2.6. If you want to restart, it's a good idea to use 2.6 though.

If you do NOT like to restart, there is a way to 'tweak' a mission to use a bomber. Search our IRC log to find out how.

C::B itself is ... ok.
But the fact that uforadiant doesn't compile on Windows is related to outdated libs in the codeblock.zip and/or the codeblocks repo at github.

IDE = Integrated Developement Enviroment.
In short: if you are on Windows, you'll have a hard time just to compile ufoai.
