well, the reaction fire interface, along with different parts of the inventory get broken and unbroken every other weak, it's hardly worth to bother with anymore.

Probably because aliens don't have hands like that.
Also compared to the others it look pretty dull, like writing down the alphabet on a bnig sheat of paper.

hmm, how about trying another patchwork?
Like taking a bit of the writing of the first pic, some of these hand, or better some taman hands, and maybe a brainwave scan (because of the possible telepathic connections)

The other new pictures all look like some culmination of the test results, like the graphic version of the textual report. I realy like that and think the other shut look similar wherever feasible.

otherwise you have old scripts in the datafiles like with your error.

oddly for me it's the same key, but here it is ^ not ~.
I should probably have just taken a closer look, before asking...

Here is another for cross reference, all instances of these two ufocrash tiles (which are a bit too common btw) are blocked in exactly this way.

Ah sry it should be the tropical set, tr_drop_firebird to be exact.

But I have to revoke my comment about the schrubs, the front of the tr_craft_ufo_fighter has the exact same problem and that is almost empty.
Also the other debris I meant, was actually on the edge of it's tile.

Notice that the blocked area is exactly one tile width?

And btw, how can you see the name of the map, or even of a special tile in game?

Not sure if this is related.
Low schrubs or small debris that should be passable is instead blocked.
One example is the firebird djungle tile, but only those schrubs in front of the firebird, not the ones on it's sides.
the red line probably is related to the edge problem.

When a base produces something and sells it, does it go into the general buy/sell pool of equipment that any other base can buy from?
Yep, it's a fast but expesive form of transport.

1+2: Remember that you can choose between explosion on contact or bouncing, that can help with the doors, windows are pretty much imposible. Baloconies on the other hand shouldn't be a problem at all if you stand in the right distance.

3: Almost all of the aliens at the beginning use pistols, which generally don't use much TU, take If you use eg the 9mm you can shoot 5 times in a row too ( or 9-12 times if you use trippleshot).

4. You just need a workshop and have to recruit up to ten workers for it. Then go to the production screen and queue the items to built, then wait. Depending ehat you build that can easily take a week and more. Note that a second workshop with anotzher 19 workers rduces the time down to 25%

5. Can't realy be helped most of the time. It's just a beta version, often the new version needs to load data the old one did not save.

There are plans to include templates for the soldiers inventory.
And they have been improving after missions for a long time now.

Ok, forgot what i said, I made a fast compile of the current version and it looks perfect (except the shadows and the firebird of course).

Duke i think he ment steptiles, at least I have that problem too.
But the strange thing is, so far I have only encountered those between buildigs, meaning along the block tile edges, but not the whole edge only one or two steptiles wide.
Forgot to make a screen though.
