yes, but as the maps you play get named when loading them (in this case +city) and the mission before sending your troops there is also called Big City, you could simply have checked the name of the map and searched for it  ::)

Hi,

when using the 7 TU shot (don't know the English name of it as I play the German version) is says that it would fire 2 shots but there is only 1 shot.

Hi,

A question about IR goggles, as I just found out how to use them after about 1 week of playing...

Do they have to be enabled for each turn? Or would they stay enabled all the time or just until I move that soldier again.

I ask because I got the impression that I need to turn them on every turn but then sometimes when moving a soldier, until now I only saw this happen with corpses lying around, bodies are still visible like in IR.

Translating / german test corrections

Hi,

which file do I need to change in order to get the new translation working in the game. does such a change only affect new games or also savegames?

I just ask because I saw some German translation which is correct but too long so that gameplay is somewhat affected and I wanted to try if it would be better with some commonly used abbreviation in games translation.

I tried editing ufoai-de.po but it didn't seem to take effect, or do I need to do something else besidese of editing this file?

same here, downloaded the game from sf yesterday. it's the 1st dropship you have available (helicopter like)
