i played 2.5dev with 2.4 save game, after the update to 2.5 i detected that my granade launcher can only shoot single granades and no more tripple fire.

There is no more 2.4.dev. News is usually for the last dev version, which is ATM 2.5.dev
You sure that the updates only for 2.5dev?

Why is this file "http://ufoai.org/snapshots/ufoai-stable-win32.exe" from today??? this is 2.4 stable (updated?)
and "http://ufoai.org/snapshots/ufoai-2.4-win32.exe" this is 2.4 stable too from 25.04

anyone know where the differents is?

When i start a new campain there i can choose between the different difficult level, what exactly means this? the fight between airships and ufo's or the combat in battlescape or both?

and my other question is about the news, i read in the news message (Monthly update for April, 2012) and i found a intresting thing about the AI improvement (AI checks now also for clear line-of-fire before shooting).
Are the news infos (Monthly update for April, 2012) from 2.5dev or from 2.4? or 2.4dev? and how can i download it?

Im agree to this... its boring to play this game with this worst KI. i started playing this game with version 2.3 and i think some updates between 2.3 and 2.3.1 destroyed the KI. actually i quit playing this game since im upgrades my soldiers with the first body armor upgrade, cause now i can run-through the levels like terminator lol.

kobold: if you're willing to test this extensively with 2.3 and the campaign, I can most definitely produce a patch for 2.3 so you can try it out.
Most of the changes are in the ai file itself.

On the subject, what's wrong with the bloodspiders (I haven't really played since I came back)?

that sounds good, yeah i would try it. if you could upload this patch/file would be cool. thanks

i used the searchfunction and i found :

- Delete config.cfg ---- I donĀ“t have this file oO

someone has an idea to fix my problem ? need help :(

you find the config file in this path: C:\Documents and Settings\"YOUR LOGIN PROFILE"\Application Data\UFOAI\2.3\base

No problem, it was fast enough. :)

I'm using 258.96 version drivers.

By the way I found another workaround, in "Adjust image settings with preview" under "3D Settings" I just selected "Let the 3D application decide" and now I can use post-processing in UFO AI. :)

I use the same driver version, but i dont need to switch to: "Let the 3D application decide" for post processing effect.

You can install release or debug, even switch from debug to release or vis-versa

Watch out its not a dev release anymore
choose the right installpath!

i think your dgraphic card is slow, or you dont jave driver.
What is jave driver? do you mean java driver?

the game running smother with java drivers? o.O
i though java drivers are only for web applications...!?

On a side note, reaction fire doesn't seem to be working for me at all. I've yet to see one of my soldiers fire back when being fired upon, even when an alien comes around a corner at point blank, right up against my soldier, and then fires 3 rounds from a plasma pistol. I watched two of my soldiers die yesterday like this.
There are other treads for RF... and btw RF works for sure.

I just wanted to know if this wall problem for AI possible to fix or if they dont want to modify AI.
