Why load data like this until it's needed (or idling)?
Then again, why keep in memory any data that isn't going to be used any time soon or in some time-critical way?
I fully agree
I do not know how the system save the data, but I can say - it is not necessary to load all at once
Download memorial while viewing it

This feature would mean that we need to keep every soldier's records for the whole game.. We already got reports about slow game load times related to the employee record counts in some special cases. And while I believe I sped that up quite much recently, I don't think it would worth loading lots of data just for this feature - which have no gameplay value at all.

No value to the gameplay?
Gameplay - The game atmosphere
Fighters in this game - one of the main components
If I cherish their fighters throughout the game and lose some of them in their fight - I will be pleased to see the statistics of lost soldiers

When there is an opportunity to load the old save game, or make a backup - a very different attitude when the game automatically restricts you

I think the idea is to wait until 2.5.0 is released before thinking about trying to add this to 2.5.1. You'll just have to be patient.
ok, thx

I suggest to make a memorial to killed soldiers
And statistics for them:
how many missions soldiers has. how much he killed aliens. and his parameters (str, con, and etc)

I thik it good idea - u can see how many soldiers u lost
And if your favourite soldier die, u can see him in memorial

Hmm, you would prefer "infinite" count for mundane items?
hmmm... why not for widespread things?

26
1. You can always change these values in base/ufos/equipment.ufo and make it a mod.

2. With a little more experience you'll find that it's much easier to make money by selling downed ufos.
1. yes, but i want see normal number of selling items (not 100 for all, its stupid)

2. what relevance to the topic?

28
Ok, to what number, and why?
It hard question. I newbie in game, and i think i cant give impersonal opinion
I think good resolve be use random and depending on the location (and, obviously, different things in different amounts - depending on the usefulness)
for example (nmb to sell)
  • primary
assault rifle 4-6
assault rifle magazine 20-40
sniper rifle 3-4
sniper rifle magazine 16-20
riot shotgun 2-3
saboted slugs 8-12
flechette shells 8-10
  • misc
medikit 3-4
IR goggles 2-3
frag grenade 3-5
flashbang 2-3
smoke grenade 1-2
  • armour
combat armour 3-4

and price twice more then manufacture
also it can differ by difficulty (on easy - more items for sale, on hard - less)

manufacture to beat in terms of what the world was not enough weapons, and that would take time to get it right (ie, not manufacture as literally, it mean - search for weapons required in world)
it also allows you to add weapons to the store for sale (by twice price)
such a request was made for 3 rifles, found 5 - 2 rifles fall into the shop

On higher levels the aliens in general are progressing faster. They start to use improved equipment earlier. However, the number of aliens you meet will stay the same.

It also influences the damage dealt in combat. The higher you play, the more it favours the aliens.
U mean difficulty (normal-hard and etc)
or good level of playing? (the good play = the more strongest enemy?)

30
Yes, and in general they will move to more dangerous weapons, craft and species sooner too.
Thank for information
