Hi,

if i got it right till now, if you win a mission on landed UFO you get a 100% Healthy UFO. That means in case of Harvester you get the Antimatter. Lather in the game you can easy shut down the Harvester with Dragons.  So if i want to get Antimatter then i must let the Harvester to land. That is not good. I have an Alien thread and i must let them to land only to get the resources. I think it is a priority to shoot down the Alien ship. Not to let them to land .... Or i missing something?

I agree with H-Hour. I got killed many times before i starting to use smoke Grenades. The 2.5 is relay more strategic. I like that. And i also don't panic when i loose a soldier some time. It is part of the game.

I think you guys should use more smoke grenades and gas grenades ...  Kneeing and waiting to RF an Alien just won't do it.

Hi,

i play 2.5-dev.

when a soldier detect an alien that stands, let's say on level 3. I click on the "detect" button on the number. The map goes to level 3. Then when i want to select another soldier the square is light blue. I can't select the soldier. When i go to lever on that this soldier stands i can select him. Is that normal? It is a bit annoying to go to lower level to select a soldier( alien disappears he stands on a hill or roof)  and i must go again to level 3 to aim at the alien.

EDIT:

This happens above level 3. on 1,2 it works. I think the height difference becomes too big to attach the soldier ...

Hi,

I followed the http://ufoai.org/wiki/Translating page. Downloaded the po file (ufoai-sl.po). So Slovenian is my Mother language. In meanwhile i was able to translate lot of text. I used the Poedit Program. I tested the mo file that is generated by Poedit in the game and most of the translation is ok. But i have a question. In the first menu of the game is "button" called Developers. I couldn't find in the po file that word. So i am not able to translate it. All the other menu "Buttons" are ok and i was able to translate them. What is wrong?

Hi,

thank you for reply. Yes the picture is a "test" one. I made different part textures and did not scale them right. I try to make it metalic. I post some Pictures when i am done with the basic structure texturing.

Bugs in stable version (2.5) / Mission load screen

Hi,

I play the game at resolution 1920 x 1080. Every time i go into mission the load screen is moved to the left. It is not in the middle. So in The right area of the screen is black space. It goes about 1/3 of the screen to the left.

Hi,

I use Solid Works and Blender, Gimp. Guys i need some help on the Textures. You can see my Inspiration of the tank. But i am not that god on making the textures itself. I can use some ideas or direction how to texturize the tank.

I agree that the Tank must be controlled somehow. It can have "a Brain" somewhere under the Armor ...
