Bugs prior to release 2.3 / Re: unplayable because of fuel bug
« on: June 20, 2010, 03:47:16 pm »
Tried it on 64-bit Arch Linux today (i.e. built a 64-bit binary), and it works! No fuel bug. I used the --enable-release flag.

Hope this helps find the problem.

Arch Linux here as well.

I tried the Win32 version today (on someone else's PC) and it didn't show this bug.

I'm seeing this as well - the interceptor or dropship runs out of fuel the moment it lifts out of the base.

I saw a thread about this in the 2.4-dev bugs forum, so I posted a little more detail there. Presumable once a fix is found it will be backported to 2.3.

I want to add that I'm seeing this bug (fuel runs out instantly) in the 2.3 release.

This is starting a new game on the easiest difficulty, all options set to default except fullscreen and resolution. Build a base on the east tip of Newfoundland, wait for a UFO to appear, send a craft after it and it runs out of fuel right after lifting out of the base. Happens again and again, even though the craft supposedly has full fuel in the base screen.

Deleting my .ufoai directory makes no difference.

32-bit Arch Linux, Core Solo U1400, Intel 945@1280x768 (tried 1024x768 too). Compiled from source myself using this pkgbuild: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages/ufoai/ufoai/PKGBUILD (you can see the compile options there). Of course I updated the data to 2.3 as well.
