Reinstall didn't help
I solved the problem by deleting all options files from
Code: [Select]
C:\Users\user_name\AppData\Roaming\UFOAI\2.5\base(Don't delete your saves by mistake! (they are in that folder) be care!)

problem come and come again after deleting options files
lokking for solutions, if i find - i will write

freezes will come after some battles. and after reinstall options files they are disappearing for a while
i have another PC - ryzen 1600x and rx480. there is no this bug

Hello !

I installed ufoai 2.5 on my game pc
and... it's freeze!

freeze when i use smoke grenade or when while unit moving and refresh visability of smoke/fire
or fire in a row (one action, many bullets)
and when enemies turn - lags too
and in another different moments

what's the problem and how to fix it?
thx

p.s. before i played a few years ago on win7, athlon 750 and gtx 750ti - there was no lags

I understand that you stick to the idea of the original game
However, ufoai independent game. the concept of the game does not correspond to 2084
He looks for the year 2000 ...
I propose to change the year 2030-2040 (this will require only change the text at the beginning of the game. do not require to change the environment of the game)

To answer your question: PHALANX wants to SAVE the civilians, that's why we don't nuke the crash/landing sites.

The UFO could just shoot a few AM rockets and blow up your people on the ground...

then why not XCOM make similarly ?
XCOM too can shoot aliens from helicopters - not need always to ground operation

i think it is real idea
and - game have one troubles - lack of independent airports

in tip of the day - "to intercept fast UFOs - run interceptors from different angles"
but there only one option to start airplane - base

i see two solutions:
- make airbase on geoscape (like air defenses station)
- make allow to manually land the airships (transport) on geoscape

Not, i dont tune the game video options, becouse i have gtx 750ti - i think fr this game it more then enough

hi all, sry for my eng
I have some visual bugs, but i dont know - its error of game or my videocard (nvidia 750ti)

some time i see some visual bugs:
1) black rectangles appear at texture
2) texture lose alpha channel
3) no visible grenade-smoke (and cursor, when i choose where to throw(cast) the grenade - blinking (fast hide-show-hide-show and etc))

i attach some screens for preview and archive (.7z) with screens, pls look it and tell me - its game bug, or my PC hae problems ? thx
