Bugs in stable version (2.5) / Stairs broken

Hi there, Just a little note to say that in the newest build (feb 26). I was unable to go up/down stairs on either the sewer pipes or base defense map (first 2 maps I got). The stairs worked fine yesterday on the various maps. Time for a quick revert perhaps? Thanks

Feature Requests / Through wall shots

I'd like to suggest that shooting through either the dropship walls or ufo floors/wall be eliminated. I haven't gone into a UFO since I figured this out as it's so much safer (especially with the humungous corrupter ships). When using the dropship heracles, it's essentially a 3 sided pillbox for snipers. I believe this takes a lot away from the tactical gameplay. Just my 2 cents :)

Greetings, I'm getting CTD's and missions being terminated on a regular basis and I think I've got it limited down to aliens that I've killed with either lasers or bolter or plasma sniper rifle. It goes something like this I kill an alien using said weapon, the game says "alien stunned" and I proceed with clearing the map, then later on it says "alien died" and either kicks me back to the world map or crashes the game. AFAIK its happening when "dead" aliens "die" from bleeding. Is this a known bug? If it is I'll just delete this post asap, otherwise I'll see what I can do help eradicate it with providing a savegame and logs. Thanks

Edit: Most missions end with me bringing home 1 or 2 of these "stunned" aliens but they always die after a few days in containment. Perhaps this is why? Aliens I stun with the capture weapons also die after a few days every time.

Bugs prior to release 2.3 / Rooftop dancers

Hey I'm fairly along in my 2.3 campaign. Finished it actually by beating an alien mission but I wasn't done having fun so back to save game. I've researched the heracles transport and when I load into the crashed harvester desert map with no buildings just 2 sand dunes, 2 of my soldiers are automatically loaded onto the roof  with no way to get down to ground level. Anyone else have this problem? I realize that the odds of people having it are quite remote. But I do like the 2 new transports. Can't wait for UVGs to get into the action. I hate sending troops around a corner knowing aliens are waiting :( . The bug is definitely repeatable on the harvester crashed desert map but doesn't appear on the other maps I tested with the heracles dropship.

Hello again, I keep having my savegame files corrupt. >< I was wondering if someone could tell me what to do to A fix/debug them or B how to keep that from happening. Here is the console readout. Sorry it's so long. I did see where it said the ufo_craft_fighter wasn't linked to any mission. Each of the saved games that corrupts has to do with an alien mission that is unlinked. I believe another had to do with the alien base mission being unlinked. Thanks

Tactics / storming corrupters?

Hey I'm really enjoying the latest build ~Feb 15th? But am stumped on how to fight my way into a corrupter. I keep taking atrocious losses. Does anyone have any ideas or tips? I have a good diversity of weapons flamer/needles/coilguns/RPG/heavy laser. I can't seem to get close enough to attack without being attacked by 3 or 4 aliens at close range... :(
